A quality approach for mobility counselling

The mobility experience for an individual is always a process and not a product. It needs to be evaluated, but how? This is all the more complicated as the added value for the individual is for many of them a matter of transversal competences: how to assess self-confidence, adaptability, stress management, open-mindedness...? How can qualitative aspects be taken into account in mobility consulting? Especially as the implementation of the project can be delayed in time?

The evaluation of the project in mobility by the professional means :
  • Evaluating the motivation and involvement of the consultant, his appropriation of the project
  • Assessing whether or not parents are on board in the case of young people
  • Assess the ability to improvise, autonomy, maturity, ability to fight stereotypes, language skills, curiosity...
  • Assess the feasibility of the project: cost, practical and administrative arrangements, time limits.
  • Assessing the risks of each mobility
  • Evaluating the added value in each career path
