3. THE EUROPASS PLATFORM: OTHER FUNCTIONALITY
1. ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONALITY FOR REGISTERED USERS
1.7. THE INTERVIEW PREPARATION PLAN
The Interview Preparation Plan is a Europass feature designed to guide job applicants through the preparation process for interviews. This tool, available in My Applications section, is designed to help registered users organize their thoughts, reflect on their skills and experiences, and prepare for the specific questions they might encounter during an interview. It offers a structured approach to creating a personalized plan that can enhance interview performance and increase confidence.
Please note that the Interview Preparation Plan is built into each individual application, making it accessible only alongside your application and not as a standalone feature.
The Interview Preparation Plan is designed as a to-do list, outlining the key things job seekers should not forget when preparing for an interview. For example, users are advised on a variety of things – from simple details such as to get enough rest, plan their journey, and dress appropriately for the interview, to more concrete steps such as to keep a copy of the job description on hand, as most employers will assess them against it, prepare examples of the skills and experience that match the role, and many more. The list can be prepared online and downloaded or printed, to have close at hand ahead of the interview.
In addition to this, the Interview Preparation Plan also offers users a list of the most common interview questions, which they can consult, prepare answers in a simple online editor, and when they are satisfied, download and print it out for later consultation.
This feature helps users become more organized and confident as they prepare for interviews, giving them the tools to effectively present themselves to potential employers. By using the Interview Preparation Plan, job seekers can feel more empowered and ready to succeed in their next interview.
